Demographic Status of Bawal Municipal Area of Rewari District

Abstract

After development in NCR Region since 1980, an industrial hub started in NCR region. Total area of this Municipal area is 3.6 kilometer having a population of 16776. It was analyzed that in this MC area growth of population was not increased at very fast rate because of the nearest town or administrative city Rewari. It was also found that good network connectivity from Rewari to Bawal and Mahendergarh to Bawal reduce the burden of population to this MC areas. Growth trends of urbanization from 1991 to 2011 was 0.46 percent which decreased as per projected population of Bawal MC by 2 percent and estimated growth for the period of 2021 to 2031 will be 0.24 percent.
